Overall Responsibility
Manage Supply Planning of J&J Consumer Finished Goods covering both Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Deployment planning activities in order to maximize customer service and optimize both inventory levels and manufacturing efficiencies constraints. This role will cover a product category manufactured in Malaysia manufacturing site supplying the different countries in APAC region.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Review and adjust Unconstraint/constrained plans generated in SAP APO, then confirm weekly production plan that is needed to support markets requirements
  • Support the plant capacity planning process (Rough cut capacity constraint – RCCP) and proactively engage / follow up with stakeholders to address risks and other constraints
  • Proactively collaborate on a daily/weekly basis with Production scheduling, Materials Supply and Manufacturing teams to ensure weekly production plans are clear and aligned across stakeholders for optimal execution
  • Review and firm/adjust weekly deployment plans generated in SAP APO from the plant to the different markets in APAC
  • Proactively identify and communicate service / supply risks to the markets local supply chain team. Review markets demand forecasts outlook.
  • Compliance with APO, SAP process / system: Ensure planning parameters are always reviewed periodically and accurately updated in the planning system (e.g safety stock, Stocks Transfer Horizon, MOQs, routing, production version)
  • Support ad hoc projects or initiatives to support growth or process effectiveness (e.g. NPD/NPI)
  • Support plant initiatives (Process improvement related projects)

The position will be measured primarily on:

  • Customer Service Level (OTIF/UFR)
  • Inventory (Days & Value)
  • DBNR (Days Between Next Replenishment)
  • Master Data Audit Findings
  • Overdue  POs/STOs


Other Dimensions:

  • Compliance to worldwide, regional and local polices eg. GMP/Quality, Policy of Business Conduct, Healthcare Compliance, SOX, etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field related to sciences, engineering or business or other similar qualifications

Professional Experience 
  • 3-5 years experience in a Supply Chain Planning / Manufacturing role
