This position leads the AP Supply Chain Finance function, in partnering the Supply Chain organization to drive Growth, Agility, Gross Profit, Cost & Cash Flow improvements for the Consumer APAC business. We work closely across Asia-Pacific commercial organization and Global Supply Chain functions, to understand the needs & challenges of the business, drive end-to-end solutions to optimize cost, cash & service, so as to ensure we add-value across the Supply Chain network and to the business.

Scope of Responsibilities


Asia-Pacific’s Consumer Supply Chain network supports a ~$3B business across 13 markets, consists of ~10 plants with 7 major technologies, ~50 external manufacturers, ~47 distribution centers and over 4,000 SKUs.  This position is accountable for >$1.2B COGS, and is responsible for the financial strategy, forecasting and analysis, strategic decision partnering, performance management and driving results delivery for Consumer Supply Chain APAC. Key financial metrics include: Gross Profit, COGS, Net Cost Change, Free Cash Flow, Inventory & DOS, Capex


This person leads a team of ~50 SC Finance employees (direct and indirect reporting) with 9 direct reports across 8 different countries in Asia Pacific.


This role reports solid line to Global Consumer Supply Chain CFO, dotted line to APAC Consumer CFO and APAC Supply Chain VP. He/she sits on the Global Supply Chain Finance Leadership Team, APAC Consumer Supply Chain Leadership Team, APAC Consumer Finance Leadership Team and APAC CFO Council. Other key working relationships include:

  • Global Supply Chain Pillars and Pillar Finance

  • Country and Regional Commercial Partners and Commercial Finance

  • Extended Finance Teams across the J&J Finance 3 Tier Model e.g. FP&A COE, General Services, Compliance, Tax COE, Treasury etc

Major Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for setting and achieving financial goals relating to all aspects of Consumer supply chain

  • Leads the preparation of strategy, business plans, and long-term planning based on internal and external benchmarking and analysis   

  • Ensures financial processes and systems are in place in compliance with worldwide procedures and drives accountability throughout the organization

  • Enhances current practices and develops new solutions and strategies to strengthen the financial knowledge and operating performance

  • Facilitates and drives resource prioritization with business partners on an ongoing basis

  • Implement driver-based forecasting process and standardize gross profit analytics and reporting

  • Effectively work with procurement team to mitigate inflation and achieve sustainable cost improvement commitments

  • Benchmark manufacturing facilities to drive further indirect cost efficiencies

  • Talent management, engagement and development of the SC Finance function, including ensuring the team has the right skills and capabilities to support the Service Delivery Model and Value Creation goals as One Team

  • Provide guidance and oversight to Global Process Architect for Principal Inventory Costing to drive global design, simplification, automation and deployment of standardized SC Finance PIC processes

  • Finance Signatory for the J&J Singapore legal entity



  • Bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting or Finance. MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience including hands-on and strategic supply chain finance experience
  • Proven track record influencing senior management to land results and drive change in complex matrix environment
  • Strong talent track record
