Responsible for Ethicon Endo-surgery product portfolio for emerging and established hospital accounts in key cities in Mindanao, Philippines. Focus areas include but are not limited to adoption of the use of advanced surgical medical devices (mechanicals and energy devices) by surgeons within key hospital accounts.
Promotes products & procedures to hospital staff and develops a positive relationship with customers. Serves multiple large and/or key accounts in a prescribed territory. Schedules appointments and makes preplanned sales presentations to customers. Coordinates with distributor sales teams that assist in product promotion and represent the company in select government tenders. Initiates contact and schedules appointments with potential new customers. Makes regular visits to customer locations to capture information on orders and market conditions. Identifies customer needs and recommends new products to address them. Develops customer and product focused presentation packages for sales. Conducts high-reaching research and uses to tailor presentations. Prepares sales reports and documents as required. Develops and recommends specific sales plans and new product launches. Balances customer questions and issues in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology. Collaborates with other departments to ensure a timely resolution. Provides input to sales forecast for business planning. Relays meaningful market information to management. Identifies potential impacts to business. Builds proposals for expansion of capital base and utilization of consumables across multiple surgical sub-specialties. This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in any Medical related course (e.g. Nursing/ PT)
1. At least 3 years experience in sales of medical devices
2. Analytical skills in territory and stakeholder mapping
3. Flexibility to changing external and internal environment
4. Strategic negotiation and key account management
5. Ability to navigate through situations
6. Results-oriented and track record of growth and achievement of sales objectives
