In the role of Sales Consultant Trauma you will drive business performance and market share and you are responsible that the most important clinical stakeholders become promoters of our products and our company. The Sales Consultant Trauma works together with all internal partners to ensure an optimal resource allocation and the highest impact of their work

Main areas of responsibility

Acquisition of new customers

  • Go on field visits and be the number 1 contact for our trauma portfolio
  • Analyze and integrate information to define business potentials for Trauma
  • Define specific projects as part of the overall account plan that will lead to customer acquisition
  • Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to enforce the final sale of Trauma products and services
  • Establish contacts with key opinion leaders to turn them into strong promoters of our products and our company
  • Facilitate congresses, user meetings and events that improve the understanding of our offer
  • Ensure Health Care Compliance in all your interactions

Management of existing customers:

  • Go on field visits and be the number 1 contact for Trauma
  • Drive Trauma sales of disposables and hardware in the BeLux region
  • Responsible for the sales of new products
  • Maintain contacts with key opinion leaders, surgeons and operating theater management to make them promoters of our products and our company
  • Ensure you have a full overview of customer landscape and provide account plans (incl. sales potential, maintenance contract potential, actions to take, current service level & investment overview)
  • Collaborate with internal Stakeholders and contribute to the Account Plan to enforce the final sale of JnJ products and services
  • Communicate with Customer Service, Management and other internal departments about customer information.
  • Shape public tenders with the client and prepare the tender bid
  • Make offers, including hardware, disposable and services sales
  • Pro-actively manage service level for all clients
  • Manage consignment stock
  • Manage product and service complaints from customers
  • Communicate with customers in the event of complaints, problems or backorders
  • Provide customer-focused service to develop customer relationships
  • Provide training courses to surgeons, specialists, nurses and operating theater management
  • Ensure Health Care Compliance in all your interactions

Drive your business with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Develop a go-to-market strategy to help sales growth
  • Collaborate with customer service and other internal stakeholders in order to optimize service level
  • Develop pricing strategy to increase price and profitability
  • Plan activities such as exhibition booths and conventions
  • Execute new product launches
  • Manage inventory within the target provided
  • Ensure Health Care Compliance in all your interactions

Qualifications
Required:
  • Proven track record and demonstrated capabilities in a sales position
  • Proven ability to manage complexity & thrives in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances

  • Strong passion and track record for business accomplishments & will to make things happen & deliver

Preferred:
  • Master’s degree or the equivalent through work experience
  • Desired educational background: (para)medical, business administration or economics
  • Knowledge of the current market healthcare landscape
