Job Description

- Lead HEMA DRG strategy development to cope with the dynamic policy changing environment in China. Working closely with BU/Government Affairs to identify key business challenges then to provide appropriate solution to help addressing DRG challenges;
- Navigator worldwide DRG knowledge and strategy with internal cross-functional team and provide appropriate training and technical guide;
- Incubate close collaboration and long-term partnership with key external stakeholders then to support JJMC DRG positioning;
- Prepare responses to questions from DRG agencies, payers and hospitals;
- Develop long-term strategy to support key products’ access strategy under new DRG payment and reimbursement policy;
- Develop HTA strategy to shape environment then to build appropriate HTA system in China and value base decision-making system;
- Influence local HTA decisions through key strategic partnerships with government assessors, KOLs, societies and non-clinical stakeholders, shaping the access environment through engagement with local ecosystem partnership;
- Develop market access strategy to support Pipeline products via access environment assessment and actively involved in launch plan discussion then prepare HEMA solution;
- Lead and Influence cross functional internal stakeholders and multi-disciplinary matrix functions to incubate collaboration;
- Train, educate and develop HEMA team members’ DRG skill and policy;
- Completed assigned tasks from team leader.

- Education and Experience required;
- Master’s degree (or PhD, MBA) in Health policy/Management, Health Economics, Economic or related scientific discipline;
- Minimum of 10 years of proven professional experience in DRG, market access at a pharmaceutical/Medical device company, specialized consultancy, research institute or similar;
- Thorough understanding of the purpose and need for Health policy and HTA with a proven track record of successful execution of projects;
- Operating and interacting in cross-functional environment;
- Experience in health policy and DRG is plus;
- Educational background and communication skills;
- Good understanding for business challenges and appropriate comprehensive solution or approaches;
- Experience for working in health policy, DRG payment system, HTA and market access strategy in the pharmaceutical industry or with a recognized specialist consultancy or academic center of excellence;
- Recognized leadership capabilities or potential;
- Strong internal and external communication capabilities and an entrepreneurial mind-set;
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills enabling endorsement of access solution based on economic evidence and related knowledge;
- Thought leadership and source of inspiration for co-workers;
- Customer-centric approach, being able to understand customer needs and deliver value adding outcomes with high quality, on time and in a resource efficient manner;
- Proactivity proposing creative, practical and scientifically solid solutions for complex problems;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into relevant and compelling information for internal and external customers.
