The Senior Business Manager (m/f/d) will manage the entire area/team in terms of sales, people management and steer organizational development according to the respective strategy. The role is reporting into the Lead Function of Biosense Webster Germany and is part of the BW Management Board Germany 
 
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
 
  • Commercial responsibility for area sales targets & financial targets; Accountable for total BW PnL performance
  • Direct Line Manager for Sales & Clinical Manager Team and the Key Account Manager Team

  • Deploy execution & acquisition strategy in dedicated areas & commercial org development
  • Knowledge Transfer of Commercial Capabilities via Regional Sales Manager
  • Manage & optimize sales channels, assess & steer sales force effectiveness
  • Development of commercial capabilities and sales force competencies
  • Teamwork & Collaboration with other Area Managers and with Clinical Development Manager (Germany)
  • Increased commercial alignment with AM and Clinical staff (CSS up-skilling in commercial skills) & Commercial Solutions department
  • Talent Management and participation in cross franchise projects


Qualifikationen
  • Progressive experience with increasing responsibility in Field Sales, Sales Training and/or Marketing is required
  • A history of demonstrated sales success
  • Strong leadership skills
  • The ability to effectively manage, coach develop and motivate employees
  • Good business financial acumen and awareness/excellent numeracy skills
  • Strong knowledge of sales distribution channels
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the medical surgical device industry and management development training is strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop close relationships with customers at all levels
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Teamplayer
  • Willingness to travel up to 75 % to fulfill job requirements
  • Good German and English skills (oral and written)
