Job Description


Responsible for coordinating, integrating and translating primary, secondary, competitive and environmental insights into growth strategies for BU.  This role serves as an internal CISO/MCE consultant to the Business Unit.  It is a leading role in advising and counseling stakeholders in the development on the implementation of new and existing business strategies and as a result, shares accountability for business unit results.
 
-Provide strategic oversight and guidance for business unit strategic business plans, brand strategies, new product launch plans and long and short range forecasts 
  -Utilize strategic and operation insights derived from multiple sources of customer understanding such as but not limited to Customer Loyalty Survey, iConnect and primary/secondary information

-Operate as a trusted advisor to challenge BU stakeholders, utilizing strategies and operational insights, level problem solving, communication and leadership to drive organizational actions that leads to tangible growth 

-Act as the commercial excellence ‘expert’ with broad oversight of CISO and CME activities for the BU, but not limited to:
  -Collaborate with CISO/MCE department on organizing and optimizing resources against identified priorities for Strategy Team
  -Drive integrated problem solving alongside BU to ensure resources are deployed against critical business problems
  -Lead the interfacing with CISO/MCE and BU on a regular basis to ensure alignment of priorities and business needs with strong collaborative and communication  
  -In collaboration with the BU - Drive resource allocation and deployment and priotiziation discussions across BU based on segmentation and other relevant analysis 

-Drive the integration of all areas of customer insights and Value Excellence and translate to business impact across sales and marketing including for example:
 -Market research and competitive intelligence 
 -Performance monitoring/management
 -SFE optimization and segmentation/targeting strategy
 -Advanced analytics including commercial mix and ROI 

-Stakeholder engagement 
-Lead, organize, coordinate and direct efforts of interdisciplinary and cross functional teams for making the BU successful
-Responsible for developing strategies and tactics and updating the organization on project plans, measures and status.  Own the process, tools and metric relation to the BU initiatives and adherence to the processes
-Take lead on driving business partners to build robust business cases on sound assumptions and gaining clear alignment on the outcoming measures before initiation
-Adhere to compliance and legal regulations


Qualifications
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience from internal or consulting company.
