This role involves leadership of the Gynea, Urology, Thyroid (GUT) Energy & EndoMech platform across the South West region.

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for growing as well as supporting and defending sales in existing accounts across their designated territory.

The role will report into the Regional Sales Manager and will attract a commission scheme in line with the current Sales Specialist structure.


Role Purpose:

  • Achieve agreed objectives and sales targets as outlined in the annual performance cycle.
  • Within allocated geographical region, interact and promote products to key partners in secondary care.
  • Takes the lead in handling the Specialty customer.
  • Lead territory through the development of comprehensive business plans.
  • Grow and develop new business including taking competitor share and the adoption of new technologies whilst maintaining key customers and core business.

Qualifications

Key areas of responsibility:

Account Planning
  • Analyse and interpret account strategies and plans utilising key systems and data, both internally and externally, where appropriate to gain a deep understanding of the business environment and insights in to account needs.
Selling
  • Build strong networks of relationships that enable the identification of mutually effective opportunities to sell key technologies in the surgical procedural environment.
  • Present brand value propositions and customer solutions to positively influence buying behaviours.
Collaboration
  • Work reciprocally with colleagues across Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices to deliver business plan objectives, in line with company strategy.

Professional Education and Marketing

  • Leadership of customer training activities. Partner with Professional Education to develop and maintain associated KOL relationships as well as fostering the effective use of the Company’s comprehensive Professional Education offering.
