Responsible for managing a sales staff in the achievement of MD&D product sales to new and established hospital accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration.
Leads staff in the strategic development, integration and execution of the business plan to achieve organizational and region goals.
Analyzes results against forecasts and presents to senior management.
Participates as a business partner in business planning sessions to establish tactical plans to accomplish goals.
Approves incentive plan parameters and goals as well as ad hoc plans and contests. Oversees departmental budget and establishes cost control policies.
Reviews quota and account assignment.
Monitors progress and verifies corrective action has been initiated when necessary. -Ensures territories are logical and cost-effective.
Initiates the development of sales plans and campaigns, business plans and product development plans.
Resolves difficult problems and customer complaints.
Cultivates relationships with key decision makers at hospitals.
