Responsible for managing a sales staff in the achievement of MD&D product sales to new and established hospital accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration.


  • Leads staff in the strategic development, integration and execution of the business plan to achieve organizational and region goals.

  • Analyzes results against forecasts and presents to senior management.

  • Participates as a business partner in business planning sessions to establish tactical plans to accomplish goals.

  • Approves incentive plan parameters and goals as well as ad hoc plans and contests. Oversees departmental budget and establishes cost control policies.

  • Reviews quota and account assignment.

  • Monitors progress and verifies corrective action has been initiated when necessary. -Ensures territories are logical and cost-effective.

  • Initiates the development of sales plans and campaigns, business plans and product development plans.

  • Resolves difficult problems and customer complaints.

  • Cultivates relationships with key decision makers at hospitals.
