Overall purpose of job:

This person will responsible to lead Commercial Strategy & Planning and Retail Excellence for Customer Development in an Asia Pacific market.



Essential duties and responsibilities:

·       Leads the Commercial Strategy, Planning and deployment across the organization

  • Manages, develops the Category, Consumer Marketing, Digital, Analytics and Trade Marketing teams 
  • Responsible for the Commercial organization evolution, processes, BP and Commercial Grids to achieve goals 
  • Development of Commercial Goals, Media/BME Planning and Sufficiency, Investment Strategy
  • Development of Go-to-Market Strategies (Category Growth, Trade, 5P by Retail Environment)
  • Category / Retail Environment (RE) / Shopper needs into New Product plans
  • Deployment of Channel and Customer level business targets
  • Deployment of quarterly business plans (go-to-market and new products) for retail execution
  • Commercial and Activity grid management

 

·       Leads and owns Revenue Growth Management to unlock growth, pricing and GP expansion

  • Terms & Conditions Structure
  • DSO (Free Cash Flow)
  • Commercial Policy Governance

  • Perfect Store strategy, coverage, deployment, agency management, technology and execution
  • Retail Excellence Framework, training and Governance


Qualifications

Essential knowledge and skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from recognized Colleges/Universities
  • Proven track record of minimum 10yrs in building Brands, Equities, Categories, Channels or Customers in FMCG
  • Proven track record in leading Customer teams and Shopper/Trade Marketing teams
  • String Financial acumen and understanding of market and brand P&L
  • Ability to build, lead and develop high performing teams
  • Ability to drive process & systems simplification as well as continuous process improvements
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate trade/customer/shopper insights and strategies into strong goto-market priorities and execution plans
  • Ability to build, align, communicate & execute effective retail execution frameworks
  • Ability to engage senior cross-functional stakeholders to shape and align commercial objectives, systems and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to adjust approach based on different situations
  • Self-motivated with strong operational discipline to deliver against financial budgets, timelines and ROI objectives
