What does Mentor do?

Mentor is a complete source for some of the finest silicone and saline breast implants, along with other products associated with the surgical Aesthetic and Reconstructive marketplaces. We have a strong history of working in partnership with our customers to ensure a service of excellence, both for the healthcare community and for the patient. Mentor is part of the Johnson and Johnson family of companies and belongs to the Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS) Franchise.

Tasks

  • Responsibility to lead all sales and marketing team activities in Germany
  • Leadership, recruitment and ongoing training of the German Sales Team to achieve strategic and personal goals
  • Design and implementation of the Mentor sales strategy for all relevant customer segments together with Business Unit Director DACH & International Marketing as well as Key Account Manager
  • P&L responsibility
  • Ensure Sales Team focus remains on growth areas with strong analysis of call rates and activities
  • Establishment and development of robust and long-term customer relationships with decision makers in the relevant customer segments and close working relationship with Aesthetic Businesses at all levels where applicable
  • Intensive KOL (Key Opinion Leader) management
  • Close collaboration with the EMEA franchise as well as Customer Service and Warehouse to ensure Service Excellence
  • Management of Consignment Stocks together with Sales Reps to ensure compliant management of all stock held in the field

You will report in this position to the CSS Business Director and are part of the CSS Management Team.

Qualifikationen
  • Several years’ experience in selling products in the medical field with OR experience
  • Ability to devise individual goals and plans for team for their personal development
  • Confirmed leadership experience in sales
  • Marketing experience in Medical Device, Pharma or Consumer
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with customers at all levels to ensure Mentor remains a market leader in both Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery
  • Very good written and verbal skills in German and English
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to see bigger picture and work towards short-medium- and long-term goals
  • Ability to lead teams with a results-oriented focus
  • Project management experience
  • Presentation and strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Economic or science degree an advantage
