Introduction and Overview

The Data specialist is part of the Nordic Commercial Excellence (Commex) team. The overall responsibility with the role is to maintain data in various systems and ensure strong data integrity within those. This person will work closely together with the commercial excellence team, customer services, DBA UK, Prague and the local sales organization. The role is a great opportunity for a commercial minded, ambitious individual who has genuine interest in data and analytics.

Process responsibilities

Responsibilities in this role are to ensure support within areas of order to cash (ERP), CRM data & BI and act as a gatekeeper in the system process flows. The areas covered are often complex in nature and require process expertise, understanding of systems and an ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization. Areas include: 

  • Customer Master Data
    • Full ownership of local customer master data.
    • Approve and monitor incoming customer service requests for data modifications and additions.
    • Educate and guide super users from customer services in the process workflow system.
    • Perform data validations on a regular basis to ensure strong data integrity as well as improving/automating existing processes and models for enhanced data integrity checks. 
    • Act as SME for queries around customer structures, processes, workflow design, request templates and workflow segregations of duties matrix.
    • Responsible for the maintenance of customer hierarchies and classifications.
  • Sales Territory Master Data
    • Full ownership of local Territory master data.
    • Designing territory structures together with local business and Commex team.
    • Perform data validations on a regular basis to ensure strong data integrity as well as improving/automating existing processes and models for enhanced data integrity checks. 
  • System access management
    • Responsible for system access configurations within ERP, BI and CRM.
    • Quality assurance.

The role requires a highly skilled and structured person with attention to details and a great ability to prioritize and make things happen. It’s essential that the Data Specialist has high level understanding and a genuine interest for systems and numbers.

  • A minimum of completed post-secondary school diploma / or higher education within a relevant subject (required).
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Experience from working with ERP, BI and CRM systems (required).
  • Fluent, spoken and written, English and Swedish language (required).
  • Masterdata experience (preferred & advantage).
  • SQL knowledge (advantage).
  • Knowledge in JD Edwards 8.12 Oracle, Qlik Sense and Salesforce (advantage).
