Introduction and Overview 

The Nordic HR team works collaboratively to deliver business solutions that meet the current and future needs of our business. Our HR services, Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Employee and Labor Relations team members are collectively integral to progressing Johnson and Johnsons business in the Nordic region.

 
 

Employee and Labor Relations Lead / Arbetsrättsjurist - Nordics

As the Employee Relations and Labor Relations (ER/LR) Leader for the region you will be able to utilize global platforms and a huge level of expertise from your colleagues in ER/LR to develop line manager capability in ER/LR tasks. You will have significant influence over local ER/LR policy for the region and work on both daily tactical and strategic projects such as Acquisitions and Divestitures.

 
Objectives of the Position
  • To lead and develop a team of ER/LR experts to deliver best in class services to our businesses within the region
  • To shape local ER/LR policy and further enhance line manager capability when dealing with ER/LR related questions, coaching your team members and managers on effectively dealing with employee performance issues (PIP) and change initiatives
  • To network externally and ensure best practice implementation in the Nordic region
  • Collaborate effectively with other pillars of HR ensuring a ONE HR approach to the customer.
  • Ensure company policy is maintained in accordance with Nordic Labor Law standards.
  • To be a change agent to lead the team and our business into a new way of interacting within the HR model
  • Demonstrable people leadership experience and is highly effective at engaging and leading teams and stakeholders.


Qualifications
Qualifications required 
  • Is a qualified Employment Lawyer (required), with a genuine interest in the Healthcare industry.
  • Significant experience working with Nordic Labor Law (required).
  • People management experience (preferred)
  • Nordic HR experience (preferred)
  • Fluent, written and spoken, in English and Swedish (required)
What you will need to succeed 

This appointment is part of a wider HR transformation, so a positive solutions focused person is key. To succeed you will be a subject matter expert in Nordic labor law and will lead your team to gain credibility to become the ‘go to’ experts on all ER/LR matters in the region. The successful candidate must be a natural collaborator to effectively work with other members of the EMEA and local HR teams and key business stakeholders.
