Sales Manager Ethicon & CSS – Perú and Bolivia

As a Sales Manager you are responsible for managing a sales staff in the achievement of Ethicon & CSS sales to new and established hospital accounts to obtain sales objectives and greater market penetration. You ensure consistent, sustainable and profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. You interact and collaborate with all relevant internal and external partners to (pro-) actively build an environment where sales results will be achieved. You identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
Main areas of responsibility:
-Define and implement the commercial strategy alignet to platforms and specialties Market Potential in Peru and Bolivia.
-Leads in cultural change; from product to solutions selling. Manages the development and servicing of the accounts to achieve business sales. Reports sales results against forecasts to senior management as well as any adjustments made to business plans to ensure objectives are met.
-Establishes incentive plan parameters and sales goals. Reviews and approves quota and account assignment.
-Participates in the preparation of sales plans and campaigns, business plans and product development plans. Develops and monitors departmental budget. Monitors progress and verifies corrective action has been initiated when necessary. Establishes and manages effective programs to provide mentorship to sales consultants to build a high performing team.
-Resolves hard problems and customer complaints. Collaborates with the Business Unit Director in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales strategy and goals for the unit.
-Creates strong and sustainable relationship with Ethicon & CSS customers and spent enough time with the sales teams in the field.
-Close interaction with Local Business Leaders to focus on the execution of 5 years Strategic Plan.
1)Profesionals with 6 years of work experience in sales; It is exclusive to have at least 2 years of experience leading teams.
2) Previous strategic marketing and sales leadership experience. Validated ability to manage complexity & thrives in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances. Strongly involved in strategic and tactical work every single day requiring being able to quickly zoom in and out
Knowledge of the current healthcare market. Demonstrated business success in delivering growth and gaining share
3) Experience working for a mid-size or multinational company, preferred in Medical Devices industry. Ability to connect and effectively collaborate across a diverse group of business partners in a highly matrixed environment
4) Strong communication skills & influencing skills. Ability to build respect and trust with customers, employees and internal partners. Self- awareness and flexibility
5) Level of Education required: University Degree; MBA is highly desirable.

7)Travel percentage: 50%
