Be vital in this role

Reporting to the Head of Communication & Public Affairs, Medical Devices Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for developing and implementing impactful and measurable communications programs for all aspects of the medical device business in ANZ, with a focus on best in class internal and external engagement to support business growth and reputation.

The role demands fluency in high impact press, influencer and social communications, media relations, crisis/issues management and reputation management. You will partner with marketing to promote key transformational new product launches and communication campaigns to drive public awareness, as well as drive employee engagement strategies support internal communications. Key to your success will be the ability to articulate the areas of highest value to the business and lead a plan based on detailed stakeholder mapping, economic analysis, expert level public policy expertise and business strategy.

Be valued for who you are

To be successful in this role, you will need a proven track record of high impact story development, successful placement and be considered a subject matter expert in communications to be able to both produce and direct world class programs. You will need to be able to proactively anticipate issues and opportunities and have extensive experience in training executives in preparation for high impact presentations, interviews and issues and have experience in cohesive brand storytelling and cross enterprise narrative building to an external audience. Industry experience is desired but not essential.
