Based on our site in Zuchwil we are looking for a highly committed:

                                Senior Planning Analyst

This position is responsible for the global, end-to-end planning, alignment and execution of Supply Chain Plan activities related to approved and funded projects, from initial development activities to conversion to Base Business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate activities of planning teams (demand and supply planners) dedicated to NPI projects

  • Drive cross-functional alignment & decision-making by identifying and compiling scenarios

  • Participate in cross-functional teams and act as the main planning point of contact for allocated NPIs. Be accountable for end-to-end visibility on planning activities (demand visibility, global supply picture, supply and demand reconciliation & commit)

  • Ensure inclusion of projects within global S&OP process

  • Identify, manage and escalate constraints, risks and deviations to projects objectives

  • Support and participate in the implementation of standard planning processes, especially maturing S&OP activities. Drive continuous improvements in Global Supply Chain processes

  • Plan for seamless transitions from the 'as is' configuration to the 'to be' state

  • Supervise / coach / mentor Supply Chain Project leads, specialists, analysts or co-ops. Train users and stakeholders on processes and systems

  • Know and follow all laws and policies applicable to the job and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times

  • Additional tasks as assigned by the Plan Manager


  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, engineering or finance

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a supply chain role. Demand planning/supply planning or product launch management preferred

  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to see the big picture while understanding the detail

  • Very good communication skills, ability to adapt to diverse audiences & define the relevant level of detail

  • Ability to partner with and influence multiple functional groups and hierarchical levels

  • Comfort with uncertainty, strong scenario planning & anticipation capabilities

  • Resistance to pressure and ability to prioritize

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to create, cultivate and implement change

  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, ….) and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with ERP system, SAP/JDE a plus

  • Project management experience, certification a plus

  • Proactivity, customer focus, collaborative & “can do” mindset

  • Fluent in English, any other language a plus
