General Summary

A key member of the APJ Commercial Excellence team responsible for the delivery of business analytics and reports that reflect business performance and identify business opportunities. Key driver of improving business analytics and insights capabilities across APJ region

Business Analytics & Reporting
  • Design, develop and deliver value-added business intelligence and advanced analytic solutions to facilitate the identification of business opportunities
  • Development or enhancement of effective business reporting tools to monitor sales performance and support business decisions for the region
  • Track and analyze sales force performance of sales volume, market share & sales force productivity. Manage the quarterly market size and share alignment for the region
  • Analyze and interpret internal and external factors that affect sales performance
  • Communicate findings to functional leaders to influence actions and outcomes
  • Continuous ad-hoc support of BI requests from APJ commercial stakeholders (commercial excellence, finance, marketing, supply chain)
  • Design, coordinate and improve the gathering of business data from across the region
  • Support commercial team in building key presentations
Project Management
  • Identify relevant key projects and work closely with commercial team to drive execution
  • Provide regional input and requirements in global projects as well as support implementation
  • Support the implementation and adoption of sales force effectiveness projects such as customer profiling and segmentation, workload optimization, incentive scheme design, to accelerate sales growth and improve overall productivity / profitability
  • Administration of project management framework, processes, and tools

Capability Enhancement
  • Enhance and support the development and application of Business Analytics capabilities
  • Increase insights generation and interactive data visualization capability by rolling out BI tools, e.g. Tableau
  • Development of best practice materials to share with commercial stakeholders across the region

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in business intelligence, analytics, commercial excellence, or sales force effectiveness
  • Experience in business analytics that link data to performance to identify actionable opportunities
  • Experience in designing and maintaining business reporting infrastructure
  • Proven ability to extract / source data from multiple data sources and integrate them into a single source / dataset
  • Strong in BI solutions, Excel, Power Point
  • Strong track record of delivering dashboards / reports in aggressive timelines
  • Strong communication & presentation skills. Confidence to present findings to all levels of management
  • Proficient in SAP,
  • Capable project manager
