Be Vital in this role:

Reporting to the Country Director, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high performing team to deliver ongoing sales growth targets across the businesses in the Upper North Island.

Key aspects of the role include:
  • Working closely with the Field Sales team, training, coaching and supporting them to achieve their goals
  • Achieve business results through increasing sales, monitoring trade spend and increasing market share
  • Lead the development of key categories growth strategy, provide category insights and direction that lead to business improvement
  • Build and maintain strong strategic customer relationships to accelerate both current and future growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to ensure objectives are understood and aligned for mutual benefit
  • Execute key cycle objectives which include developing and implementing promotional plans and activities

  • Have a track record of success in the management of sales teams within the FMCG industry- Grocery channel experience preferred

  • Have agility to meet changing demands; as well as be proactive and impactful
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and selling skills
