We are currently recruiting for a:

Health Care Compliance (HCC) Specialist

located in Allschwil

Your responsibilities:

  • Creating the Annual Training Plan, developing, organizing and tracking trainings
  • Designing and implementing the local monitoring plan and proposes updates/improvements every time a gap is detected
  • Following up on Management Action Plans
  • Being an active member of the Educational Grant Review Committee, ensuring HCBI principles are respected and minutes are issued
  • Being primary point of contact for International Brand Value Teams and approving their activities on behalf of the HCCO
  • Approving iConnect activities on behalf of HCCO
  • Working closely with cross-sector HCC colleagues to implement cross-sector projects and activities when applicable
  • Working closely with HCC Liaison when existing in order to ensure compliance, alignment and agility in the processes
  • Working with EMEA teams in order to improve and harmonize processes (EMEA Learning and Monitoring Working Groups, for example)
  • Ensure the maintenance of employee certification and training attendance records
  • Ensure the maintenance of employee certification and training attendance records
  • Carrying out day-to-day tasks such as data collection, analysis and reporting
  • Supporting implementation of new systems
  • Contribute to updating and implementation of all HCC written policies and procedures on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in implementation of modifying regional global strategies into regional and local level and where needed sector level, based on appropriate local needs, goals and objectives, taken into account local external regulatory trends and environment
  • Support the HCC operations group in implementation of education, training, and regular communications on HCC to all covered employees, including local sales, marketing, finance, HR, managers, supply chain and directors at the local level
  • Assist in the self-assessment and risk assessment  processes to detect process gaps & inconsistencies
  • Maintain the Third-Party Intermediary inventory and revise the due diligence related documentation
  • Take the HCBI-Committee minutes when needed.
  • Assisting in coordinating preparations for Corporate Internal Audits
  • Log and report  unplanned deviations and manage day-to-day inquiries, allegations and investigations and assist in remediation actions
  • Collect and provide quarterly metrics to the HCC-Officer
  • Conduct HCC related trainings for external parties

  • BA/BS, advanced degree or equivalent preferred
  • Min. 3 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, and preferably in a Healthcare Compliance function.
  • Background may include Compliance, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Medical Affairs, Legal, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory or Auditing.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry in functions such as Healthcare Compliance, Regulatory Affairs or Finance
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations and industry standards a benefit.
  • Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage conflicts in an open and constructive manner
  • Ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business
  • Must be able to work independently and effectively also under time pressure
  • Proven track record in delivering results, self starter and ability to manage complexity a must
  • Language skills:  English (good written and spoken command) is a must.
