LCI China is recruiting for a program leader who will be a key member of a core team to execute China strategy.  The position requires close collaboration across Johnson & Johnson’s business sectors including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, and consumer divisions to advance the Center’s strategy.  The LCI China program leader will lead multi-disciplinary program teams to ensure successful delivery of program goals. 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Facilitate the definition of program scope, key activities, goals and deliverables

·         Develop and manage the project plan for each program, defining key tasks and tracking progress of ongoing activities

·         Support program teams on project execution as needed

·         Interact and communicate with senior internal cross sector/cross functional stakeholders and external partners on program design and execution

·         Monitor and report on program progress to core team, identify and escalate issues

·         Connect and interact with global LCI pillar leads to ensure alignment with pillar strategy



Qualifications

·         MD, Ph.D or MBA with 10+ years industry working experience

·         Prior experience working in an R&D organization, including but not limited to project leadership, study/clinical trial design and execution

·         Ability to lead, drive and coordinate cross functional teams and thrive in a matrix organization

·         Strong project management and execution capability

·         Ability to liaise and build relationship with internal stakeholders and external partners

·         Prior experience in leading multi-disciplinary cross functional projects is a plus

·         Technical expertise in medical device and/or pharmaceutical science is preferred and knowledge in lung cancer diagnostics and/or treatment is a plus

Strong communication skills, good oral, written and presentation skills
