The Sr. Specialist QA Capacity Planning is responsible for the continuous improvement, standardization and automation of processes for data collection and reporting in the areas of Quality Reporting (e.g. platform management reviews, JSC score cards, risk registers), Cost of Quality and Quality Metrics in support of Quality at the sites and the Global JSCQ Quality organization. Coordinates and manages data and reporting activities that are outsourced to external service providers and monitors the business performance (e.g. timely, in budget) of the external providers. Creates insights from data and trending to drive proactive quality, continuous improvement and cost effectiveness. Collaborates with global groups and leadership teams to communicate metric insights/trends and which metrics to add or removed from the Quality dashboards.

Acts as SPOC (Single point of contact) for capacity planning for the JSC Quality Site Teams, defines a standard approach for and execute short, mid-term and long term JSC Quality planning and coordinates with JSC local sites and CoEs for planning activities


Act as single point of contact for planning in JSC QA organization - for Global Planning, site, and others in the supply chain (35% of time):

  • Align with Quality Performance Management team members for strategic planning
  • Gather inputs from JSC Site Quality and other interfaces to define capacity planning
  • Define overall planning management system (governance, communication, stakeholder alignment, timelines, cadence, inputs, outputs, escalation, etc.)

Manage QA Planning model (50% of time):

  • Define optimal short to mid-term planning model (3-24 months)
  • Perform quarterly refresh of short to mid-term network plan
  • Define optimal long-term planning model (2-5 years)
  • Perform annual refresh of long-term network plan

Lead quarterly communication of refreshed plans to JSCQ LT and Site Quality Teams (5% of time)

Optimize model for interface planning systems and QA planning/scheduling systems (e.g. Smart QA (5% of time)

SME for local QA planning/scheduling systems (5% of time)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Ideally APICS certificate, but can complete as part of a certification program, study and exams
  • 3 to 5 years related experience


  • Ability to communicate proactively and resolve issues within the QA network
  • Experience in capacity planning and supply planning
  • Knowledge of planning & scheduling systems (e.g. SAP, Smart QC/QA, APS)
  • Proven track record working in a global matrix environment
