Part I – Position Description Summary

JNJ Global Business Services is the Johnson & Johnson Shared Service Center in Europe, delivering compliant financial services to J&J affiliates across the EMEA region. Forming an integral part of the Account To Report (A2R) department, this position of A2R Senior Analyst (Local GS) is responsible for variety of A2R activities which remain part of local GS (Global services) and mainly include elements of External and statutory reporting, LR reporting and supporting local Fixed asset processes.

Part II - Key Responsibilities

Process responsibilities:

• Support of the CFM role within in the country
• Cooperation with regional GS center in Prague, IC team in Manila and other CoE / Local Finance entities (i.e. BUF, FP&A group, Tax COEs)
• Support CIA and external audit in dedicated area of responsibility
• Preparation External Reporting & Statutory accounting packages
• Misc. other Local reporting Requirements including Government Reporting (e.g. statistics)
• Preparation and review of packages & reports for CTC related to Legal entity
• Responsibility for preparation of select LR reports for submission to CTC
• Ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met and closing tasks completed as per closing calendar – completeness, accuracy and validity of numbers.
• Preparation and submission of data required for QE reporting (e.g. statistical templates, headcount data, project spend information etc)
• Preparation of BS reconciliations in scope
• Supporting Fixed Asset local processes (e.g. physical verification, impairment reviews)
• Oversight and support in relation to hosted head setup and necessary associated cross charges.
• Projects and initiatives to drive innovation and process improvement as required.
• Misc. other Local specific processes (e.g. bank admin / authoriser, insurance planning, backup for ariba and payment approvals)
• Adhoc work as per business requirements

People Management:
• none

• 5-10% - mostly to Prague

Compliance Statement:
• Accurate and timely month-end reporting. Meet all corporate and regional deadlines.

Scope of Role:
• Responsible for variety of A2R activities which remain part of local GS (Global services)

• Fully qualified accountant (or similar equivalent), with 3+ years post qualified financial experience

• Fluent English, confidence in presenting to Senior Management in English
• Other languages of EMEA countries preferred but not required

Experience Required:
• Local market experience with European J&J companies
• 3+ Years job experience in different Finance functions
• US GAAP reporting experience
• Local market Corporation Tax/J&J LR reporting experience
