INVENTORY ANALYST
Location: Prague
Full-time, unlimited contract

We are looking for a data-driven person who likes analytical work. You will work in a motivated team who deliver superior results to the business. You will actively assist team members to drive efficiency and make improvements. In this role, you will be working closely with our internal teams here in Prague as well as our affiliates regionally. You will deliver the highest standards and services our local affiliates, trading partners, compliance and all other partners have come to expect.

You will be responsible for following activities:

  • Process and investigate  Sales orders  through Financial statuses (invoice print and sales update booking to the ledgers) , which went into error  due to  finance, technical & business reasons
  • Preparation of  Intercompany Netting (documents for payment) by closing respective invoices per month and discuss with senior members of the team any discrepancies or issues appeared
  • Creation  of related Intercompany orders based on finance matrix
  • Support  main customer (GMED) in Base Inventory reconciliation (comparison of General Ledger vs.  Inventory movements and investigate & correct differences
  • Transit accounts reconciliation - investigation and review of issues
  • Track  issues in Issue log (issue tracking tool) with all  necessary details including suggestion for solution based on  information from all parties involved (customer service, warehouse and IT support)
  • Help other team member with transactional duties (invoices, setups..)
  • Maintain Batch posting revision in JDE 8.12 & SQL and  assist with solving errors
  • Support  accounts reconciliations and prepare repairing journal entries in order to clean the balances
  • Conduct basic research improving related issues
Accountabilities:
  • Ensure that all Sales orders are timely processed and posted into GL, making sure that sales recognition terms are met by  Month End
  • Cooperate with other A2R GFS teams (Reporting, MD, IC, GL, VAT)
  • Perform testing  of new processes/ acquisitions before the Go-live


Qualifications
  • Financial & accounting background
  • MS Office (advanced MS Excel knowledge required)
  • Experience in working with ERP system
  • Intermediate level of written and oral English
  • Able to combine Finance with IT
  • Stress resistant – ability to work under pressure
  • Organized – good time management & able to set priorities
  • Very good team player, assertive and result oriented
  • Strong adaptability skills
