Ecommerce Shopper Marketing Manager Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Deliver Business Results:

The Shopper Marketing Manager will be responsible to deliver the Business Targets for the Ecommerce Channel and Support the 2 Key Account Managers in business delivery. The incumbent will be responsible for making choiceful decisions on the Account & Franchise Play to deliver the Overall Number.

  1. Customer Management:

The Incumbent will be responsible in developing long term relationships with the Ecommerce Accounts, ideate & Lead all Marketing executions on the Ecommerce Portals.

Business Planning & review:

  • JBP planning for Lead Accounts along with the KAMs
  • Monthly & activitiy based reviews with the accounts along with the KAMs
  • Plan & close the Marketing Calendar with the Accounts

Drive initiatives to grow & gain market share while strengthening customer Relationships:

  • Strong understanding of the customer Journey by Portals
  • Complete Knowledge of the Account’s Assets and ROAS by Asset
  • Plan & execute Marketing initiatives basis the Shoppers set by Account & Asset
  • Partner with the account on Portal-led initiatives
  • Regular review of ROAS and improve the Channel ROI
  1. Channel Management:

Win with Shoppers & hence Gain Share:

  • Understanding the Shoppers by Portal – Baby, Beauty & Personal Care Shoppers
  • Win in Search on All Portals especially Amazon. Understanding Organic Search & search interceptions and ways to influence the same
  • Best in Class Content across the Portfolio to influence Shopper behavior (A+ Content)
  • Influence Assortment to Offer Differentiated Portfolio for the Ecommerce Shopper
  • Engage with the accounts to Intercept Navigation Shopper Journey
  • Track Ratings & Reviews to improve Overall Shopper Experience
  1. Custodian & Ambassador:

The Shopper Marketing Manager will lead all executions and be responsible for the implementation & Usage of extended Ecommerce Capabilities designed to improve SCANR

Product 360: The Product Details repository for Ecommerce

Amazon Official Contributions: Shopper Feedback Module on Amazon- Closing the Loop

Clavis: Constant Tracking of SCANR Metrics on Lead Accounts

  1. Internal Collaborations:

Marketing: Complete synergy with the Franchise Teams on the Marketing Calendar and syncing the same with Ecommerce Marketing Plans

Regulatory: Aligning the regulatory Teams on all ecommerce activities and closing the loop in case of issues faced

Procurement: Following the correct procurement principles for all Ecommerce Activities


Collaborate with brand for e-commerce specific activations, share eShopper insights, leverage digital to close the sale. Work collaboratively with customers to identify opportunities of mutual interest, grow our brands and our customers' categories.

Qualification: MBA

Technical Qualification: MBA from Top Tier Institute with 2 to 3 Yrs Experience (2016 Batch, 2017 Batch)

Skills (Certification/s): Experience in Business Development, Ecommerce, Customer Marketing, Account Management, Sales
