BWI Mission is to cure Atrial Fibrillation (Afib).
Afib is fast becoming one of the world’s most significant health issues that places a critical burden on healthcare systems. It is a new millennium epidemic that affects millions of live mostly affecting middle-aged and elderly. The symptoms and clinical consequences of AF disrupt patient quality of life and increase the risk of mortality. Despite that, Afib is significantly underdiagnosed and undertreated also because the awareness level outside of the Electrophysiology community is still limited.


We are seeking to recruit a highly talented, motivated and ambitious individual to take the role of Therapy Expansion Specialist (TES). The TES will be responsible for increasing the awareness of Afib ablation treatment with General Cardiologists (GCs) and General Practitioners (GPs) in Ireland. The TES will conduct daily visits to GPs and GCs in Ireland to promote BWI Afib Awareness Campaign, create a detailed report of current approaches/pathway for Afib patients and work closely with local Electrophysiologists to organise specific educational events. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the TES will be expected to collaborate with other members of the Irish Team (Technical Specialists, Clinical Training Leader and Sales Specialists) to optimize the customer experience and maximize sales and take share opportunities.

The key objective of this role will be to increase the volume of Afib patients treated with ablation therapy in Ireland.

• Update daily the company CRM tool
• Deliver a detailed report of current approaches/pathway for Afib patients.
• Organise specific Educational Event for GCs and GPs in collaboration with local Electrophysiologists.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager, Clinical Training Lead, Technical Specialists and Sales Specialists to develop innovative activities to achieve sales targets and to allow the franchise to gain market share and differentiate from competition.
• Maintain and develop firm business relationships with KOLs and other strategically important clinical and economic stakeholders
• Adopt Credo based principles in all interactions with internal and external customers.

• Cardiology background
• Fluent in English both verbal and written communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships quickly.
• Have the capacity to gain in-depth product and procedure knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders within the EP lab setting.
• Must be self-disciplined, organised, and be able to take ownership and responsibility for business objectives.
• Must be highly motivated and have a strong desire to succeed in a demanding role.
• A team player and independent thinker
• Ability to positively influence thinking, behaviour and gain commitment
• Trained to apply advanced Microsoft package skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
• Full & clean driving license
