Providing support to the QA Cluster Lead in the provision of a Quality Assurance service to the J&J UK Consumer and J&J Republic of Ireland Consumer business units. You will be Adhering to external licensing authorities, J&J quality standards, systems and business processes and procedures. Perform responsibilities relating to standards, procedures and training. Contribute to operational effectiveness essential to the delivery of our quality standards. Acting as Responsible Person for the UK and Ireland wholesaler authorisations.
•Supporting the business units in terms of quality management and the resolution and communication of quality issues.
•Maintaining and implementing the local Quality system
•Collaborating with departments to provide QA input to new projects and concepts and approve any new product launched in the UK/ROI
•Maintaining compliant and effective procedures to meet the business needs
•Managing effectively all local procedures, work instructions and associated documentation
•You will be providing input to draft global / regional procedures
Inspections / Audits
•In conjunction with UK/ROI Regulatory Affairs ensure maintenance of that the Wholesale Dealers and Manufacturers Import Authorisations.
•Assisting in the management and follow -up services for local authority inspections
•Supporting and conducting local internal and external quality audits
•Inputting into development projects, approving of artwork changes, management of quality issues and complaints, recalls, working with official organisations, internal Quality groups, supplier sites and ensure we meet our internal quality standards.
•Ensuring products are developed in full compliance with applicable local requirements
•Ensuring that new or changed European or local national legislation in QA or GDP-related matters are communicated within the organization and implemented
•You will provide quality related question input from Commercial Directors and functional team leaders in the UK organization
Do you have the following skills experience and educational background we are looking for?
- Do you have an academic degree qualification Life Sciences?
- Quality Assurance Management experience of at least 2 years
- 5 years’ QA experience within pharmaceutical, cosmetic or medical device industries
- 10 years’ experience in QA positions within regulated industries
- Experience working in the cosmetic or commodity industries (asset)
- You have experience in Quality Auditing / Training and people management
- You meet requirements to act as GDP Responsible Person in UK
- Strong knowledge of local regulations regarding pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, medical devices and commodities
- You are a self-sufficient and data driven decision maker.
- You are able to justify your decisions well and able to explain your rationale firmly.
