The Learning Development/ Performance Development Specialist is responsible for the promotion and smooth operation of the Learning curriculum and the deployment of the 5 key conversations framework across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. Through correct marketing, communication and education support for employees and managers, the Performance and Development Specialist will ensure that there is a strong uptake of development planning and associated execution of development activities throughout the J&J family of companies.
The LD/PD Specialist is the primary point of contact for employees and people managers to understand the leadership & learning curriculum and the J&J performance management framework, the 5 key conversations. The incumbent provides direct “hands on support” to employees and managers in reviewing development plans, promoting the J&J training curriculum and delivers some face to face training.
< Major Duties & Responsibilities>
Planning and Management (including some Administration and co-ordination) of L&D activities（50%）
-Act as an L&D consultant regarding J&J Family of companies’ internal training needs
-Manage enrolments, participant communications, supervisor and facilitator communications and cancelations for learning activities collaborated with business partners .
-Liaise with business partners, external learning organizations and internal stakeholders to ensure a suitable standard of learning, appropriate to the purpose and outcomes of the L&D strategy
-Develop and document internal and external processes and procedures for the effective and efficient coordination of L&D activities
-Coordinate activities that are part of the learning programs including but not limited to:
Liaising with external learning organization regarding logistics and participant requirements
-Coordination of participant pre and post work (when necessary)
-Preparation of training materials (when necessary)
-Booking venues and managing all logistics for programs (when necessary)
Marketing & Promotion (5%)
-Liaise with departments within the J&J family of companies to coordinate L&D initiatives and activities, including training events, resources, tools and e-learning courses
-Work with providers of L&D activities to ensure appropriate scheduling and promotion
Create company communication, outlining information about L&Dactivities and resources
E-Learning/LMS/ Record Management (5%)
Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all JAPAN L&D generated activities are kept
Generate management reports from the record systems to track participation and effectiveness of JAPAN L&D generated activities (where systems exist)
Maintain, update and continuously improve L&D records systems
Co-ordinate E-learning and access to Global J&J programs (non-Compulsory courses)
Financial Tracking (5%)
-Assist the P&D/L&D Manager in the Generation of the budget to support delivery of solutions
Work with Finance teams to monitor budget on a quarterly basis and manage variances
-Process and Track expenses for L&D programs via accounting system
-Ensure appropriate costs for courses are cross-charged to participants cost center’s and accounted for in the L&D budget
-Ensure that all invoices from external providers are approved and settled in a timely manner
Track all charges going in and out of the L&L cost center
-Monitor training enrolments to ensure compliance with nomination approval policy and processes
5 Key conversations & J&J performance management frameworks (20%)
-Deploy the 5 key conversations and J&J performance management framework across the Family of Companies – deliver manager and employee training to reinforce high quality conversations which drive employee engagement.
-Monitor quality and delivery of 5 key conversations and provide feedback and improvement recommendations to business leaders and HR.
-Provide administration and other support to ensure the successful deployment of the 5 key conversations
-Establish close working connections to Workday Vitals team to understand global timelines, initiatives, communication plans and system/process changes.
-Effectively communicate process and systems requirements to employee and people managers.
J&J Onboarding (5%)
-Design, develop and deliver the J&J Family of Companies onboarding process and program to support the effective integration of new employees through training and education
-Project basis (Talent, P&D, Career, Health and Wellness, D&I etc)
<Other Duties and Responsibilities>
Assist JAPAN P&D Manager & HRLT, with planning and implementing cluster & regional HR initiatives and projects.
Provide support and ownership of additional L&D/P&D/OD projects.
-Required Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree in HR or related human sciences
-Required Years of Related Experience: 3+ years (negotiable)

-Proven experience in diagnosing organizational needs, designing and implementing solutions to build functional and leadership capability of the organization is required.
-Successful experience in creating and implementing performance, leadership and development activities in complex, multi-functional business environments is required.
