GCPA Director Strategic Account Communications EMEA


The GCPA Director of Strategic Account Communications plays a critical role in enabling our success in strategic accounts by partnering with our Strategic Account Management and Services & Solutions teams to effectively communicate our value offering and partnership approach, including Care Advantage to C-Suite Stakeholders to maximize our external positioning as the industry partner of choice in healthcare.

 

This position is key to shape our company strategy towards value-based healthcare, drive internal advocacy as well as impactful, insights-based influencer and activation programs to strengthen our position as leader in value-based healthcare with non-clinical stakeholders.


RESPONSIBILITIES/ PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Essential Functions)

  • Serve as trusted and credible communications advisor and the Strategic GCPA Partner to the Services & Solutions and Strategic Account Management teams. These teams are responsible for developing and delivering all services for the sectors’ end-to-end solutions deployment business to health care systems in Europe, Middle East & Africa.
  • Build intimate insights and data-driven understanding of C-Suite non-clinical stakeholders to establish and develop an integrated communications and public affairs plan that includes core tactics and programs that can be executed at both the regional and country level.
  • Facilitates the implementation of internal change required to transform the organizational culture to one that is service oriented
  • Build and manage relationship with other teams in the organization e.g. specialty IVTs and customer facing teams
  • Develop campaigns & strategic events including relevant PR & content support and manage key regional programs
  • Continuously evaluate and adapt programs to accelerate the market-leading position and build brand equity with non-clinical stakeholders
  • Build / influence streamlined processes to ensure sustainable and effective content management for the various communication channels (including Digital).
  • Quality management, compliance and management of copy/approval: Ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Manage external agencies and third parties engaged in execution of projects and programs
  • Full budgetary and financial management responsibilities associated with the programs
  • Oversee and manage multiple work streams in virtual and remote project teams that span different locations across a EMEA.
  • Contribute to and provide appropriate input to the development of other communication programs and support methods for driving innovation and change across the organization


Qualifikationen

  • University degree with major in Marketing and/or Public Relations
Experience:
  • Ambitious, innovative and results-orientated Public Affairs and Communications Professional with 10 years solid experience in the field
  • Thorough knowledge of brand, marketing communications, Strategic development, project management, change management ideally within a healthcare related business
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to manage complex structures
  • Experience within large scale transformations, mergers or acquisitions
  • Strong Influencer with ability to work with globally and regionally-diverse team
  • Ability to work proactively in partnership multiple stakeholders (internally and externally) to develop opportunities and solutions.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C business and/or Medtech industry and agency business.
  • Highly developed oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and persuasive manner to influence customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong project team management, both direct and virtual across a matrix environment
  • Proven track-record in strategy development with solidly executed tactics that have driven positive impact for the business.
  • Demonstrable track record of relationship building, preferable within a healthcare related business
  • Experience and familiarity across multiple disciplines of marketing; brand marketing, digital marketing, public relations, advertising communications and events
  • MS Office
Language:
  • Exceptional professional writing and content creation in English
Travel:
  • Estimated 25-30% travel required
