Compensation Leader EMEA
Location: Prague

We are looking for an exceptional manager, who will lead a team of compensation specialists covering Europe-Middle East-Africa region (EMEA). The person in this role will be required to lead the team and also participate himself/herself on solving the more-complex issues and escalations. We are looking for a person who understands data sets, is able to find trends and propose solutions. We are looking for a person preferably with an experience in an international company environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership of a team of 3 people, whose role is to:
  • analyze compensation data and create salary ranges
  • interpret, analyze and apply guidelines for management and executive job leveling and organizational design; benchmark Total Rewards programs relative to market peer group companies and perform analyses to determine our competitive position; work together with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on Total Reward issues and respond to ad-hoc questions;
  • review out-of-policy hiring/promotion proposals, including executive offers, cross-country hiring and international transfers, long term incentive valuations and total rewards impact analyses;
  • review job levels where necessary
  • lead year-end compensation planning coordination in the region and assist HR teams meet budget and distribution;
  • assist in reviewing, defining and implementing compensation plans and programs in the EMEA region in cooperation with global, regional and local stakeholders;
You will also be requested to participate on global Compensation projects representing EMEA and its diverse population.

Your experience and skills:
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in Total Rewards/Compensation and Benefits area - required
  • experience with working in a matrix international organization - required
  • previous experience with leading team – required
  • fluent in English - required
  • analytical skills and ability to understand and interpret datasets
  • knowledge of MS Excel on advanced level
  • knowledge of Compensation programs, trends and practices preferably across multiple countries in EMEA region
  • an understanding of benchmarking and measuring impact when designing compensation and benefits programs in multiple countries
  • good understanding of complexities related to executive compensation and international moves within countries in EMEA
  • experience in the pharma, consumer goods or medical devices industries is a plus
