To be based in our strategic production site based in Val-de-Reuil (France), we are hiring a Senior IT Manager - expert in drafting business solutions! 


Role summary :


Accountable to formulate and implement IT Strategy in France - part of the Central Europe cluster of EMEA (Germany, France, Austria) - including direct SC BT responsibilities for 2 internal manufacturing sites. Accountable for all Supply Chain EHS activities in the region.

 
The role will work with Regional EHS Leadership team, Global Business Technology Team, Global Technology Services and all 9 product line groups in Enterprise Supply Chain - Business Technology. 


Major Duties & Responsibilities : 

Technology strategist” who spans multiple technology solutions :

  • Define technology strategy for business partners
  • Manage business expectations and keep business aligned to business requirements
  • Understand competition and how they use technology
  • Oversees internal and external collaborations
  • Provide input to PLOs for future requirements, especially key business capabilities, and the associated value to the Product Line –as an input to shape the product strategy
Investment manager: 
  • Defines priorities for business and associated  technology investments
  • Actively participate in steering major strategic IT programs to drive successful implementation and business value realization
  • Accountable for all aspects of delivery
  • Accountable for operational IT expense
  • Manages portfolio of investments

Business IT interface :

  • Understands core internal IT products and ability to drive business value
  • Drives business partners towards standard solutions
  • Coordinates with other BU BTLs

Customer Focus & Management: 

  • Direct collaboration with customers to enable and support strategic programs
  • Continuous improvement of the IT operating model
Business Process Improvement
  • Identify process “pain points” and early improvement opportunities
  • Build business case for improvement initiatives (e.g., impact, feasibility, and investment required)
  • Create implementation plans for improvement initiatives including timeline, owner, and key milestones

Primarily for Industry benchmarks


Qualifications
Required Minimum Education : Graduate
Preferred Area of Study:  Supply Chain related
Preferred Related Industry Experience (if applicable):  Consumer Goods


Required Years of Related Experience:  10 – 15 Years


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High level understanding of the Supply Chain processes
  • Business acumen to translate business requirements to system design requirements
  • Strategic/big picture thinking mindset with the ability to drill into the details where necessary
  • Good communication, leadership skills
  • Experience of having worked in a diverse, multi-affiliate, multi-cultural and virtual environment
  • Budget and portfolio management capabilities
  • Fluent in French and English if not mother tongue

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Supply Chain Management (APICS certifications)
  • SCOR, Business Process modelling knowledge
  • Industry best practice/benchmarking experience


Travel on the Job : in France and occasionally within the region  (10-15%)
