Human Resources Business Partner – Czech Republic

Location: Prague

Full time permanent contract


Role Overview

 

We are looking for HR Business Partner for our Global Business Services division in Prague, Czech Republic. If you are successful you will contribute to the overall performance of the business by partnering with the local leadership team and helping them develop and implement best in class people management practices. Provides the leadership team with a broad HR support with emphasis on organization design, talent management and succession planning, as well as employee/manager coaching. Creates a trusting, collaborative and ethical work environment that drives employee engagement. Opportunity to gain local and regional project exposure throughout Europe/Middle East/Africa.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapts and implements global and regional HR strategies, creates and oversees plans and programs that support organizational design, talent management, orgaisation health and change management efforts for one or more functions in Global Services (HR, Finance, Procurement, Strategy & Operations)
  • Supports the accomplishment of short- and long-term business goals through effective execution of core HR processes pursuing solutions that drive work effectiveness, and providing a hands-on HR support to all planned and on-going organizational changes
  • Supports the leadership team in building the Credo-based high performance organizational culture as ell as in effective team management and talent development through promoting efficient collaboration, facilitating x-functional communication, giving feedback, managing conflict, and providing an on-going coaching and counselling
  • Ensures accurate and timely reporting of selected HR metrics (e.g. headcount, people cost, people moves) and on-going/planned HR activities
  • Participates in regional/cross-sector initiatives and projects, ensures local business alignment
Selected On-the-job Activities:
  • Acts as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers for all HR related matters.
  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes and initiatives at the client’s side
  • Manages complex HR Projects cross-functionally
  • Builds a strong business relationship with internal clients
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
  • Supports identification and talent development of key talents for internal clients
  • Facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for employees
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions
  • Challenges the organizational structure of the internal client and proposes changes
  • Acts as the member of the cluster HR Management Team



Qualifications
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in total – out of that at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in similar role
  • We prefer previous experience with HR Business Partner role, but we are open to HR experience in general
  • Fluent English & Czech/Slovak
  • Good working knowledge of labor law
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), experience with HR systems (Workday)
  • Driver’s license B
  • Willingness to travel across selected CEE markets when necessary
