You, the Boutique Manager, will focus on one primary objective – to form and lead a team of Brand Ambassadors to ensure Omotenashi experience for all customers at the various retail shops and departmental store counters across the country to deliver set targets, goals and expectations of the brand.

You are the ultimate brand ambassador of the Dr Ci Labo brand. By sharing your time, knowledge and love of its products, you bring the brand to life every day and create a unique Dr.Ci:Labo experience for every person. You extend Dr.Ci:Labo’s brand leadership as #1 medical cosmetic brand in Japan into your market. You are the heart of Dr.Ci:Labo.

Training, Learning and Development: Dr Ci Labo Brand Ambassadors are provided a comprehensive onboarding training and regular developmental trainings to keep you at your best.

1. SALES & TARGETS
  • Achieve individual KPIs:
    • Store sales targets
    • Average Ticket Sales (ATS)
    • Items Per Ticket (IPT)
    • New customer recruitment
    • Loyalty customer follow through
    • Promotional targets (when in place)
  • Target tracking & setting for the store team with the alignment of Brand Manager
  • Daily sales and weekly sales reporting to Brand Manager 

2. CUSTOMER SERVICE & CRM
  • Manage and support team members in customer complaints
  • Ensure quality inspection case are reported to head office and closely monitored
  • Acquire new customers to Dr.Ci:Labo database
  • Develop customer relationships by providing customers regular updates
  • Monitor, motivate and coach team members to develop customer relationships

3. STORE/COUNTER APPEARANCE, VISUAL MERCHANDISING
  • Ensure a high level of store/counter maintenance & housekeeping at all time
  • Maintain visual merchandising in line with corporate guidelines 
  • Alert head office to any repair works and monitor to ensure follow-ups are well executed by contractors

4. STORE / COUNTER STAFF MANAGEMENT
  • Work with to coach/motivate all staff to drive sales and achieve sales objectives; provide on-the-job training and development for all staff
  • Ensure staff are educated in and adhere to company policies and guidelines
  • Manage store roster, ensuring sufficient daily manpower for smooth store operations. Submit staff time-sheet and sales ranking report to head office monthly
  • Conduct regular staff briefing
  • Conduct weekly in-store product trainings or customer service refresher for team members
  • Manage any staff issues that may arise

5. POS MANAGEMENT
  • Responsible for the store’s payment transactions and ensuring that the register is balanced at the end of each day
  • Responsible for tourist tax refund processing (where necessary)
  • Manage petty cash float and payments to third party vendors as authorized 

6. STOCK MANAGEMENT
  • Assist in inventory management. Ensure stock rooms are kept neat and tidy at all times; stock should be kept in appropriate order for ease of access when serving customers
  • Ensure all stock transfers into and out of the store are properly recorded to minimize stock loss
  • Stock loss is kept to the minimum
  • Lead in the monthly stock take process of the stores

7. GROOMING
  • Maintain an impeccable grooming standard as the brand ambassador in store / on counter
  • Ensure that all Senior Beauty Advisors / Beauty Advisors are groomed per brand’s guidelines & standards



Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE’O’ level / Diploma Holders
  • At least 5 years’ cosmetics retail experience at supervisory level, with demonstrated leadership capability
  • Strong understanding and experience in managing and motivating a team, achieving sales targets
  • Good language skill and able to communicate at all levels, preferably in English and Chinese
  • Well groomed, positive attitude and ability to work independently with high level of motivation and service mindset
  • Analytical and meticulous with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Must be sales driven and strong passion in retail
  • Must be able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
