Reporting directly to the Heamatology Therapeutic Area Lead for APAC, you will be responsible for leading, planning, guiding and driving Medical strategy and activities within the Haematology franchise. This will be for marketed products and those still under development, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and achieving and meeting organisational objectives across APAC.

Are you seeking a challenging senior strategic opportunity in which you can work with key internal and external stakeholders, utilise your commercial acumen and scientific/medical affairs experience and knowledge to make a difference to patient outcomes?
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Act as the APAC Medical Affairs expert especially for Multiple Myeloma/Myeloid malignancies
Represent AP voice at regional and global teams for building the TA and brand strategy and provide input into the development plans of the products included in the TA
Build /maintain network with key external thought leaders to ensure clear understanding of external thinking and ensure the company medical strategy reflects the external environment
Provide scientific leadership for APAC cross functional and country Medical Affairs teams and ensure regular communication and training between regional and local medical affairs teams
To build, maintain and leverage relationships with experts and other important stakeholders related to the activities in the haematology therapeutic area to gain input into the development of the product strategy, to specific protocols, and to services ensuring high-quality disease care.
Act as study responsible physician on regional AP studies and ensure all relevant SOPs are followed
Provide scientific support for regional APAC studies regarding clinical studies design, statistical plans, CSR, publications as appropriate etc.
Review and approve single country study concepts (intervention, Real World Evidence, Investigator Initiated Studies etc.)
Participate as a member of APAC Protocol Review Committee for assigned TA products
Develop the Regional APAC Medical Education activities for assigned TA as part of the MAF Annual plans for the products in the TA
Manage and execute the regional Medical Education strategy and events, including company standalone program, scientific symposia, publications, speaking engagements, webinars, and advisory boards etc.

You will be a qualified physician and ideally a Haematogist. We will also consider candidates with a PhD who have significant demonstrated scientific and medical affairs haematology experience in the pharmaceutical industry. This would suit an experienced Senior Medical Advisor within Heamatology who is looking for their next challenge in their career. Your ability to successfully manage key stakeholders within the business as well as the ability to navigate the complexities of commercial demands across different therapeutic areas will be a must.
