Senior Manager (m/f), Business Technology Leader, Germany
He/she will be responsible for developing IT as a competitive advantage and enabler for the business, identifying how technology can help to accelerate business growth in these areas. The Business Technology Leader (BTL) will be responsible for defining technology strategy for Germany. The BTL will serve as a critical point of contact for the BTL DACH & DPS and the German business unit.  This individual should be a passionate change agent and have a good understanding about the challenges and opportunities of doing business in Germany.
Main responsibilities
  • Collaborates with business partners in Germany to define technology strategy that maximizes business value and minimizes time to market.
  • Defines priorities for business and associated technology investments leveraging product line organizations, effectively manages investments to maximize value.
  • Aligns stakeholders around common measurable goals.
  • Accountable for delivery and operational IT expense
  • Understands core internal IT products and new technologies and approaches to drive business value (external benchmarking)
  • External client engagement with Healthcare professionals (in collaboration with business partners) 

  • At minimum, bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or business, master’s preferred
  • 5 years experience leading an IT organization
  • 10 years experience in IT
  • 5 years experience in health care
  • Fluent speech, comprehension and writing in German and English
  • Ability to drive results
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team Player
 Location / Travel
  • This role is based in Norderstedt, Germany.
  • Travel in Germany is expected to be around 10%.
  • Occasional travel will go outside of Germany.

  • Supervisor: BTL DACH and DPS
  • Internal: Business partners, other BTLs, Product line owners, Supply chain
  • External: Technology providers, Healthcare Professionals, Digital health startups
