Full-time permanent contract

Location: Leipzig 

  • To design and continuously deliver to production the most lovable intra-operative tools and services that make surgery a fully digital, certifiable journey
  • Create new features, extend and maintain existing features of web-based applications used inside the Operating Room by clinical staff
  • Pro-actively support shaping the architecture of our applications, tools and services landscape
  • Deliver high quality applications, tools and services - well tested and well documented - to production environments
  • Drive resilient / self-healing architectures and design-patterns
  • Derive a set of core KPIs to monitor proper operation and performance of his/her technology stack
  • Help define how to assess, measure and conduct quality (assurance) on his/her technology stack



  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of German and Russian is an advantage
  • Proficient in one and experienced in at least one more of the following languages: JavaScript, JAVA, C#, Python
  • Proven experience in distributed / micro-services and event-driven infrastructures is a plus
  • Proven experience independently building substantial functionality and designing reliable solutions
  • Proven experience working in Agile software development teams and processes
  • Ideally, experience working with GraphQL APIs / Apollo
  • Ideally, experience in test driven design, behaviour driven design and/or domain driven design
  • Ideally, healthcare industry experience as a developer
  • Ideally, experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Ideally, experience with front-end frameworks such as Blaze, React
