Associate Director, Consumer Warehousing and Transportation

§ Manage all logistics operations on warehousing and transportation for Consumer Mass and Online business, responsible for On Time In Full deliveries from plants to customers. Be responsible for managing logistics activities including inbound and outbound shipments, and warehousing site operations, safety, housekeeping, quality and compliance, & security.
§ Engage in both Mass Channel and E-Commerce logistics strategy to enable business growth and significant business model changes, at effective Cost to Serve. Establish logistics distribution infrastructure/foot print and develop capability roadmap. Determine what capability to buy, to leverage, and what capability to build internally.
§ Engage in key initiatives and lead the deployment, including warehouse moves and transition management following logistics network study and tenders, new product launch, event management like Double 11 to meet aggressive sales target at desired profitability as well as consumer satisfaction (DSR). Lead selectively key initiatives of China Consumer end to end supply chain.
§ Manage 3PL including evaluation, audit, contract management. Ensure effective performance management through high quality Gemba walk, regular reviews, to deliver values in satisfying customers, increase productivity with the optimum utilization of manpower, equipment and materials Drive good quality of CAPA to dig out root causes followed not only corrective actions but also prevention.
§ Ensure inventory data accuracy through cycle count. Proactively monitor inventory and work with Planning and Finance to eliminate/reduce overflow, in optimizing working capital, and to provide forecast to better logistics planning on both storage space and transportation.
§ Coach and develop people, to build up a high-performing team, with talent pipelines.
§ Control budget of all operations and projects, lead CIP/lean initiatives and drive for implementation in delivering results.
§ Play a critical role in CLS China leadership team in vision, strategy, organization & talent development. Contribute to APAC in Compliance, Customer, Cost and Capability.
§ Complete adherence to local legislation and guidelines and implementation of company policies and procedures
§ Cross function collaboration to ensure a high level customer satisfaction
§ Documentation for warehouse operation, service complaint handling, payment process et al per audit, GOP/SOP
1. Basic Requirement, including Education and/or Knowledge and/or Training and/or key Relevant Experience required.
l 8+ yr experience in logistics or operations, including vendor management
l 5+ yr experience in people management
l Experience in Fast Moving Consumer or Healthcare industry is preferred
l Excellent in connecting with key stakeholders including Commercial, Planning, Make, Q&C, EHSS, Finance, Legal, Government Affairs/PR, IT, and regional CLS teams especially S&D, Warehousing & Distribution.
l Strong in spending analysis and budgeting. Business case justification. Cost to Serve analytics.
l Solid in execution with minimum supervision
l Working English and computer capability
College degree, preferably with background in SCM
