EMEA ASSOCIATE MEDICAL AFFAIRS MANAGER
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Full-time permanent contract
 
Role Overview:
The Associate Medical Affairs Manager will effectively plan, project manage and execute medical writing and medical affairs roles within the relevant franchises in the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region. He / she will have a key role in the provision of scientific and clinical information to the regional Medical Affairs team, and relevant franchise teams needed to support the registration, and marketing, of approved products.
 
As Associate Medical Affairs Manager, you will have the following areas of responsibility:
  • Actively contribute to internal and external subject matter expertise and provide appropriate in-house scientific training for specific product franchises. 
  • Assess and interpret literature, internal research and provide expertise on safety and effectiveness of relevant products.
  • Review and advise on suitability of new products from a clinical, claims, and safety perspective.
  • Contribute to the development and approval of key communication messages and materials for professionals and consumers.
  • Write new Clinical Overviews and Clinical Evaluation Reports, for products or adapted from the global overviews and reports and supporting documentation.
  • Assist local and regional markets, and regulatory colleagues, with responses to Requests For Information from Regulatory Agencies.
  • If necessary, support local markets with comparative reviews of a local SmPC against a newly/recently update issue of a CCDS.

Qualifications
Qualifications and experience of the successful candidate:
  • Min. 2-3 years of previous experience within medical affairs
  • Preferable experience in Over the Counter or consumer products or pharmaceutical industry
  • Medical or healthcare professional or graduate in life sciences (e.g. pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry or biology).
  • Advanced knowledge of English with ability to proficiently communicate both written and verbally, no Polish required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment on cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Good negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate across multiple stakeholders
