The Consumer business includes a broad range of products across a multitude of categories inclucing baby care, skincare, oral care, womens health as well as over the counter pharmacy products. Brands include Johnsons Baby, Listerine, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Clean & Clear, Nicorette, Benylin, Sudafed, Benadryl and many more. (merge 1 & 2 for UK Consumer)
Within the UK Commercial function you will be given the autonomy and responcibilty to drive your own business from day one, regardless of your role.. Your KPI’s will be balanced between key commercial deliverables based on your account/channel (WHAT) but this is also balanced with delivery in a way that helps dirve the overall business, in line with our Credo values and our behavioural imperatives of CONNECT, SHAPE, LEAD & DELIVER (HOW).

Create clear winning plan for your categories and delivery of JBP for the next 12 months
TS, TI, NTS, GP and Share delivery for your categories. Financials delivered in line with guidelines set via Brand and CS&P
Negotiation - Experience of being part of a negotiation within a channel/customer/category aligning internal and external stakeholders ie. Annual business planning and promotional plans
Relationship Building - Experience and proven ability to build strong working relationships with buyers to enable delivery of business plans.
Experience of building strong internal relationships, across multiple functions engaging key stakeholders to your business plan.
Strategic Thinking - Demonstrates ability to develop in year customer strategies for your category. This should involve taking into account key market and customer trends for the next 12 months in order to deliver the business plan and take advantage of opps and minimalize potential risks.
Commercial acumen – Understand what role your customer/GFO plays within the channel today & define the strategic direction & resulting plan for the next 12 months.
Support the Business Unit process of managing/improving/delivering TS TI, NTS, RGM, ROI KPI’s by driving & delivering your personal GFO commercial targets; through the understanding of both J&J and your Buyers business area, making sense out of complex & uncertain futures, being cognizant of the implications of choice for all affected parties to make clear & decisive business decisions.
