Role Purpose:
  • Lead the planning and implementation of digital activities that support the achievement of the company’s “Analyse and Disrupt” strategic objectives, namely;
    • Implement insight-driven and high-quality customer journeys, involving multiple channels, for all Target Class HCPs
    • Invest in and learn from experimental customer-facing digital activities
  • Ensure the Multichannel and Digital Transformation Team are fully aligned with and supportive of the plans and deliverables of the Commercial and Medical departments
 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

 
  • Lead the Multichannel and Digital Transformation Team to ensure agreed activities are delivered and maximised, within agreed budgets
  • Collaborate and share with the EMEA digital team, reviewing and leveraging approaches from across the region
  • Develop, articulate and implement inspiring and innovative digital plans, both short-term (annual business plan) and longer-term (3-5 years)
  • Work closely with Business Unit Directors, Medical Director and CVTs to identify and agree innovative/disruptive digital approaches and tools in the areas of personalized medicines, customer-facing approaches, and value-based pricing that should be taken forward to the demonstration model/pilot stage
  • Ensure the effective delivery of these high impact digital programmes that seek to implement and then scale new digital customer and patient engagement models that meet the needs of Janssen, our customers and patients
  • Develop and implement a process for demonstration models, including approval of concepts, development of a minimum viable product (MVP) with rapid testing and then fail/scale decision
  • Develop collaborative external partnerships with industry experts in digital customer solutions, seeking to identify and review new digital trends, developments and technologies with potential applicability to Janssen
  • Co-ordinate the Janssen UK cross-functional digital transformation group to continue to develop and align on cross-company digital strategy and approaches


Qualifications
Experience Required
 
  • Track record of developing and delivering innovative digital programmes
  • Experience of partnering successfully with external organisations and internal stakeholders
  • Capable of initiating creative approaches/solutions, and then leading change management to develop and embed them
  • Experience of digital programmes and activities in the pharmaceutical industry and (ideally) outside the pharmaceutical industry
  • Team leadership and direct line management experience
  • Influencing and communication skills and an ability to work across functions/roles, with a proven ability to develop working relationships with stakeholders at all levels (internally and externally)
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business direction and needs into actionable guidance
