Job Summary:                      
  1. Develop and market the designated products to be in the line with the company’s expectation both short and long term in regard to sales, profit and quality image.
  2. Successfully execute the agreed marketing plan.
  3. Ensure that all promotional materials will be in line with the approval of the Thai-FDA and Health Care Compliance.
  4. Recommend and conduct the market research if necessary for comprehensive marketing intelligence.
  5. Be the prime source of information related to the product and market.
  6. Train the sales specialists related to product and market knowledge.
  7. Ensure that all activities conform to Health Care Compliance, Policy on Business Conduct, and local laws.
 
Description of Duties:
  1. Marketing planning
    • Develop and maintain the in-depth market intelligence.
    • Analyze the market situation.
    • Identify and assess the product’s potential.
    • Co-ordinate with Area Managers to prepare the sales forecast and production planning.
    • Develop strategies and tactics in order to achieve the objectives both short and long terms.
    • Analyze investment level and prepare profit and loss statement
    • Schedule the marketing program.
    • Co-ordinate with Medical Affairs to identify the need for clinical trials and identifying the potential investigators.
  2. Execution
    • Ensure all agreed promotional activities be implemented according to the schedule.
    • Monitor and review the product status and marketing activities regularly in order to make any necessary adaptation.
    • Provide training for field force to upgrade their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm of the product.
    • Ensure that all promotional materials must get the approval from Specialty Development Leader, Medical Affair, RA, FDA and follow the Health Care Compliance before proceeding.
    • Ensure all promotional materials will be available in time.
    • Co-ordinate with Sales Supervisor, Area Managers, Sales Manager and distributor to organize symposium, lecture tour, field visit and drugstore meeting.
    • Ensure that inventory of the product is maintained at the optimal level all the times.
    • Maintain the regular contact and relationship with all related VIP doctors and medical associations.
  3. New product development
    • Identify opportunities for new product development and new product launch that will contribute to the company’s objectives achievement.
    • Co-ordinate with company pharmacist on new product registration, ensure that IRF, FSC and package insert translation is available timely.
    • Develop and recommend the proper packaging, pricing structure and pack size of new products.
    • Co-ordinate with RA, MAF, MA and Sales Department to initiate any necessary pre-marketing activities.
    • Initiate and conduct a quality market research for new product launch.
  4. Report
    • Prepare and present the progress report on product related activities on the monthly basis to Franchise Manager and Vice President – Market and Sales.
  5. Measurement of performance
    • The soundness and quality of the marketing policy recommendation.
    • The achievement of sales and profit compared to the objectives.
    • The improvement of sales and profit.
    • The timeliness and completeness of all marketing activities compared to the schedule.
    • The ability to maintain good relationship with and between all management groups within the company.
    • Establishment of solid database.
       
         

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree  in  Science, preferably with MBA degree
  • 3-5  years experience as Medical Representative, Sale Representative, Product Specialist in Medical Device business preferably Orthopaedics field
  • Foundational knowledge of in-line product marketing, channel marketing or new product development
  • Good command of Thai & English in speaking, reading and writing
