We are seeking a Trauma Sales Specialist to develop and grow our orthopaedic implants sales within the Dublin /South Territory
Duties and Responsibilities:
Development of the sales territory in line with agreed business plan to ensure the annual sales target is achieved
Plan and execute successful marketing and product launch agenda, work with UK PM team on the role out and implementation of the annual marketing plan in conjunction with NSM
Management of Framework contracts and Tenders through shaping, influencing and negotiating with all levels of decision makers as required
Engage and lead in commercial discussions with hospital procurement and management team.
Drive sales growth and gain market share in agreed product portfolio in conjunction with strategic goals
Target competitor business, establish key opinion leaders and develop reference centres.
Define and shape the development of a regional sales plan in line with National Sales manager .
Identify and execute on all potential business opportunities within territory with assistance of National Sales Manager.
Assist in the promotion of DePuy Synthes products through organised exhibitions and meetings to demonstrate DePuy Synthes has the right products to meet customer needs, providing demonstrations where necessary to ensure correct use of products.
Work with Trauma Clinical Specialist to ensure all product-training sessions and case support is provided as required.
Skills and Experience needed:
Experienced sales and marketing person with proven track record of success in a framework based market
Professional selling skills matched with knowledge of orthopaedic / trauma environment
Experience of HSE Framework and tender procurement environment
Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
Proven track record in marketing or product launch
Tenacity, adaptability, driven and self-motivated
Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to succeed in a highly competitive environment
Enjoys the challenge of working in competitor accounts and knows how to convert business
Knows how to plan success and flawlessly execute – action orientated.
