Role Overview


Accountability for gaining sales and product recommendation from pharmacies for OTC brands. Beside this, he/she is also accountable for constant work on POS placement and improvement in visibility and hot zone placement in pharmacies, as well as compliance with the appropriate J&J business conduct policies.


Key responsibilities:


Developing sales and profitable growth for OTC brands in the assigned market through:

  • Managing relationships with OTC wholesalers: IMS and GTS forecasting, trade activities, as well as solving ad-hoc issues (logistical, quality etc)
  • Managing marketing contracts with top pharmacy chains: get the most impact for our investment
  • Sales reporting and analysis: preparation of sales forecasts and sales analysis, identifying opportunity gaps, key account sales and assortment tracking, financial reporting,
  • Planning, budgeting, organization and execution of various international promotional activities – projects for J&J brands
  • Co-ordination of product launches – involvement in ordering process including availability checks, order forecast, product registration, trade folder creation, product launch promotions
  • Supporting OTC Pharma team in executing tailor made activities in pharmacies 


Our Requirements:

  • Previous proved experience in Sales and national or local Key Account management in pharmacy area (2 - 3 years)
  • OTC experience would be an advantage
  • Acquired university degree business, economics, related fields
  • Intermediate level of English (both written and spoken), native level of Romanian
  • Very good computer skills (Microsoft Office: Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Valid driving license
  • High level of motivation and ethical approach in achieving business goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships in the assigned market
