【Legal】Law Department Staff

Successful candidate will primarily be working on below matters under the supervision of senior counsel and senior patent attorneys
-General Law (Consumer)
Update and maintenance of contract templates
Promotion material review of Consumer related advertisement and promotional material
Document management and day-to-day support for the counsel and the attorneys
Contact window for patent info confirmation from business and provide the info with a little attorney supervision
Update and manage patent info database
Maintain patent documents and other related documents in an electronic format and/or a paper format accessible to the attorneys
Support the attorneys in preparing patent applications especially patent term extension applications in pharm field, including communicating with an outside counsel
Prepare patent and its related training/guideline materials to business

•Be trustworthy and reliable with a strong sense of integrity and exemplify high ethical, legal and compliance standards at J&J.
【Required experience and skills】
-3-years+ experience as a lawyer handling general corporate matters or an in-house general/IP legal staff or a technical staff in a patent law firm
-Judicial Scrivener（司法書士）/ Certified Specialist of Intellectual Property Management（知的財産管理技能士）and other quasi legal qualification in Japan is preferable.
-English reading/writing skill which enable to communicate by email in English (TOEIC 730+)
