Job Title (India Specific): Special Projects and Sales Force Effectiveness Lead

Division: Surgical Vision

Job Summary:

  • Special Projects and SFE Lead will drive continuous improvements in sales tools and processes that enhances sales productivity and partners closely with Sales, Marketing and Training to design and deploy comprehensive strategies to drive business improvements.
  • This role leads the Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence & Analytics Team for Surgical Vision business.  They partner with various internal stakeholders to identify, prioritize and implement sales excellence projects; ensure continuous management support and communication, i.e. preparation of business reviews and presentation for senior management; and increase functionality and effectiveness of commercial excellence team through training, coaching and continuous support.
  • He/ She manages a team and reports to Head - Commercial Operations & Strategy (India & South Asia)
 

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy SFE framework to drive sales force productivity and own analytical projects to support business growth through strategic
  • Review and develop business strategies with changing market and regulatory dynamics, and integrate those with sales and marketing initiatives to meet growth objectives
  • Lead special projects to support business growth through several initiatives including market access strategy, pricing and market development
  • Strategic Pricing: Develop and own the strategic pricing capability by setting a vision and action plan as well as closely working with sales, marketing and finance teams
  • Develop, manage and optimize the sales processes and tools to drive performance in the field. Integrate the sales processes with the sales strategy of the organization including customer segmentation, call plan, territory design, SF deployment, sales target
  • Collaborate with the sales organization and other stakeholders to implement the initiatives
  • Manage and improve the CRM system to drive adoption and utilization by the sales organization
  • Own and support data quality management (DQM) framework to ensure availability and integrity of necessary information
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Thought partner for the sales organization for driving SF productivity through SFE initiatives and BI solutions
  • Provide critical insights to country leadership on business growth opportunities through market access study, pricing and market growth development strategy
  • Excellent stakeholder manager and able to drive projects independently with minimal supervision from functional leaders
  • Manage a team of 4 members and ensure their professional development through coaching and skill development

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science / Commerce / Engineering (Electronics / Electrical/Instrumentation) or Optometry. MBA will be an added advantage
 

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience with several years’ experience in SFE management & Business Strategy development
  • Strong analytical and technical skills in Excel, PPT, data management & reporting, CRM system
  • Ability to identify and develop sources of information and generate meaningful insights through analytical models
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to make compelling power point slides
