Key Account Manager

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Full time unlimited contract



Role Overview:


Responsible for achieving sales objectives by selling products to new and established Key Accounts within a prescribed territory or region.


Main responsibilities:

  • Building and developing relationships with key decision makers for new and established accounts
  • Acting as liaison and primary contact with major commercial and industrial customers
  • Conducting presentations to customer executives and decision makers
  • Preparing formal proposals and leads negotiations
  • Preparing sales contracts and routes for approvals
  • Developing accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Responsibility for business policy with key accounts
  • Establishing sales plan and specific project plan for key accounts, follow up and execute it
  • Analyzing customer business opportunities and threats and designs plans to capitalize on them
  • Preparing sales strategy and conditions for customers
  • Coordinating and performing economic and competitive analysis
  • Identifying opportunities for field sales force to secure sales
  • Monitoring competitors and market, with understanding customer needs
  • Keep planning cycle according to company requirements
  • Responsibility for customer NTS target, budget, follow up accounts receivable
  • On time reporting of spontaneous adverse events (AE) reports and quality complaints for all products




  • At least 2 years of experience on a Key Account Manager position + other sales experience of 2-8 years
  • University degree or High school + relevant experience
  • Fluent level of Hungarian and English
  • Similar experience from an international FMCG company focusing on international chains
  • Driving license category B
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-contained and flexibility
