Senior Manager, Communication & Public Affairs

Subordinates: 1-2 staff
Location: Beijing, China
l This position will lead and handle the internal communications & CSR, activities, and events in the company to support the fast-growing business through enhancing the employee engagement, fostering company culture and building the company image.
l Motivating key internal to beliefs, actions or behaviors which help make the goals of the company a reality.
l Effectively manage and execute the company’s internal communication & CSR strategy, i.e. drive employee engagement and volunteerism, distribution communication, etc.
l Align key messages across all company hierarchies and geographies, which refer to liaise internal communication with regional/global.
l Manage all complex internal communication networks, build strong relations with major stakeholders ranging from senior management to front-line sales force.
l Provide professional communication support and counsel to senior business leaders, in order to ensure on-going and interactive communication and foster a good organization culture.
l Plan and execute the internal communication initiatives, including the development of corporate messages and create a long-term communication strategic campaign.
l Lead and manage change communication.
l Responsible for effective delivery of company core messages and visibility of relevant information to all employees by using a broad array of traditional and social media channels, e.g. internal website, townhall meetings, and WeChat.
l Constantly evaluate effectiveness of internal communications channels and ensures an optimum bled of internal channels. Further monitor the employee communications environment with a view to emerging new channels and consult management on piloting new technologies/channels.
l Manage internal communication & CSR budget;
l People coaching, development and management.
Qualifications and skills:
l Solid knowledge/experience in internal or external communication, at least 10 years communication-related work experience in MNCs, familiarity with writing styles and approval processes in a large organization;
l Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Chinese language with professional experience in speech and story writing.
l Excellent interpersonal skills and proven track record of stakeholder and interface management in an international environment.
l Knowledge of internal communication & CSR strategy planning and implementation;
l Experience with digital, electronic and social media use for internal purposes;
l Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills – respect, trust, empower and motivate people
l Drive changes and diversity, proactively adapt to fast changing situation;
l Bachelor degree is a must, business school education or MBA is preferred.
