We are currently looking for a


Medical Scientific Liaison (m/w) – Gastroenterology

 

Within this responsible position, you are responsible for proactively and reactively discussion of our products, treatment trends and studies in the specific therapeutic area on a peer-to-peer basis with a defined audience of Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other stakeholders).

 
Main Tasks:
 
  • Responsibility for the development and maintenance of a contact network with health care professionals (HCPs)
  • Leading proactive and reactive communication of medical scientific data to Leading Specialists and broader external healthcare related audiences
  • Supporting the MSE (Medical Scientific Experts) in managing, planning, designing and executing MAF (Medical Affairs) clinical activities in close co-operation with GCO (Global Clinical Operations) and CROs
  • Through scientific interactions, gains valuable insights into treatment patterns,
  • and scientific activities in the disease area and provides strategic input to the company
  • Involvement to the Medical Affairs Plan needed for business decision-making
  • Organization and participation in Medical Education activities
  • Responsibility in driving ad hoc project work on request


Qualifications
  • Scientific degree: Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical or natural Science university degree.
  • Knowledge of the therapeutic area, strength in research and interpretation of medical data.
  • In optimum, 2-4 years related work experience within the Pharma industry and Health Care Environment
  • Excellent knowledge in scientific acumen to be accepted by Leading Specialists in peer-to-peer relationship
  • Advanced business acumen (result driven) and strategic thinking
  • Strong Communication and negotiation Skills combined cross function collaboration experiences
  • Fluency in German and English required (written and verbal)

The role is field-based and demands approximately 70% external customer interaction.

 

We offer excellent conditions of employment and possibilities for further career growth within our company. For this position we are offering an annual gross salary starting at 55.000 EUR (excl. variable component). Depending on your skills, qualifications and experience this can be negotiated.
