Account-to-Report (ATR) South Asia Director, Global Services Finance (GSF), Manila is responsible for the overall management of service delivery and operations specific to ATR South Asia GSF.


GSF Manila Management


• Provide leadership and strategic direction to ATR South Asia team across 8 countries (PH, VN, TH, SG, MY, ID, AU and NZ)
• Manage implementation of the strategy, planning, execution and compliance relevant to GSF Manila set by GSF Asia Pacific Delivery Lead and Corporate Finance
• Identify business opportunities for GSF South Asia in continuous improvement, operations efficiency, cost savings, expansion and other areas and coordinate with other GSF/GSF-Asia Pacific locations to ensure alignment
• Oversee the development and implementation of the business plans
• Manage the critical success factors for achieving business objectives
• Represent GSF Manila/GSF AsPac on relevant corporate matters as necessary and co-ordinate group wide initiatives as appropriate to ensure their success
• Oversee the setup of facility management in GSF Manila (Philippines)
• Represent GFS Manila/GFS AsPac interests during discussions with SIP bureau of Administration as necessary

Service Delivery Management


• Supervise and guide Service Delivery (R2R) Process Managers where required
• Manage the support team for BPO partners and effective relationship and service delivery
• Make final decisions regarding day-to-day business operations and service delivery where required
• Accountable for overall customer satisfaction and meeting required service levels in GFC Manila (Philippines) service delivery
• Direct the preparation of reports where necessary
• Drive continuous improvements in service levels, customer satisfaction, system enhancements to enable greater process efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage and resolve complex business problems, issues, and risks in coordination with management team
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders (Divisional Finance Directors, BU Financial Controllers, Corporate Finance) and key external stakeholders (vendors, customers, regulators) to maximize customer service

Service Support Management

• Supervise and guide ATR Service Support functions to South Asia to ensure support functions are well managed and meet required service levels for operations in scope
• Ensure the service management performance objectives / targets of the company are met in coordination with Mobilization/CI Manager, Compliance/Reporting Manager and Customer Contact Team Lead as required
• Ensure the financial performance objectives / targets of the company are met in coordination with local Finance Senior Account
- Maintain fiscal responsibility of ATR South Asia annual budget, forecasting and planning to ensure expenditure is controlled in line with the annual plan
• Ensure the human resource performance objectives / targets of the company are met with local HR Manager
- Review and approve ATR South Asia manpower, compensation, promotion, and succession plans
- Review and approve all corporate communications, publications and media affairs
- Establish and maintain a safe working environment for ATR South Asia

Continuous Improvement

• Active participation in the identification of opportunities for continuous process improvement / innovate solutions / system enhancements so the team can operate in an efficient and cost effective manner
• Provide inputs and align ATR South Asia on best practices and simplification, standardization, quality improvement and cost minimization of process
• Provide inputs to Mobilization / CI Team on business process improvement initiatives to the team as required


People Management
• Cultivate customer service culture and team cohesion in ATR South Asia through meetings and team building activities with management team and employees
• Retain and motivate staff so that the workforce functions effectively, efficiently and safely
• Coach and train direct reports to improve skills and knowledge required to perform his/her job effectively
• Set Performance Objectives and evaluate performance of direct reports
• Counsel direct reports on performance improvement and career development
• Resolve management team conflict with sensitivity, tact and fairness
• Drive towards balanced workload, quality recruitment and low attrition in ATR South Asia

Audit and Compliance
• Ensure current processes, operations, systems, databases and information security are up to date and comply with proper accounting and legal principles/policies/procedures, including GAAP, Company WWP (worldwide procedures), SOX and others
• Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities – ensure staff and information are available as required
• Work with local finance to align on understanding /implication when there is a corporate policy change and guide Service Delivery / Support Team where necessary




Qualifications

• At least University degree in Finance related field or equivalent with professional certification (e.g. CPA)
• Graduate qualifications related to Finance desirable
• At least 15+ years experience in setup, planning and management at a multinational corporation
• At least 3 to 5 years experience in managing a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently
