MEDICAL MANAGER IMMUNOLOGY
Location: Budapest
Full-time permanent contract

Role Overview

To define and implement medical education strategy concerning specific therapeutic areas on behalf of Janssen, which is to provide an opportunity for professionals working in the health service to make informed decisions in patient care and in the therapeutic areas of strategic importance for the company. To provide professional medical support for all activities of Janssen where medical competence is required. Support for the ongoing professional training of promoters of medicine (Sales/Key Account Representatives). Organization and implementation of non-interventional clinical studies, patient support programs, support RWE studies from medical scientific perspective.


You will have the following areas of responsibility:

  • development and implementation of Immunology TA related medical education strategy 
  • planning and control of the budget of medical education, organization of local and cluster events for medical education
  • selection of international events of medical education where high-level information exchange expected
  • drafting educational materials both for HCPs and for patients as required, in association with a third party 
  • coordination of the implementation of Risk Management Plans prescribed by the authorities, in close collaboration with the Regulatory Manager
  • transferring approved educational materials concerning therapeutic area to health care specialists 
  • where necessary, planning of and assistance to consulting bodies that affect strategic therapeutic fields
  • collaboration with the managers of therapeutic area corresponding to marketed products
  • review of applications to charitable contribution/medical education grant and the documentation of congress participation applications
  • providing a liaison point for accessing the EMEA level medical education activities/materials
  • harmonizing of centralized materials in accordance with local medical education requirements
  • pro-active medical, professional support for marketing/sales/HEMAR activities at high level
  • searching for and supply of scientific literature, scientific materials/data upon request from professionals
  • delivering therapeutic area related presentations on medical issues to specialists (boards, congresses)
  • review of promotional presentations (by own employees or by HCP) from medical point of view 
  • organization, coordination and supervision of the patients’ therapy assisting/compliance programs
  • active support for the professional training of medical representatives (promoters of medicine)
  • professional revision of local language translations of summaries of product characteristics
  • review of the medical content of market research; providing a medical background for reimbursement applications
  • organizing non-interventional clinical studies in collaboration with CRO, close co-operation with the local GCO and international MAF organizations in selecting sites for the clinical studies
  • closely cooperates with TA Head as well as HEMAR, PM and SM professionals


Qualifications

Qualifications and experience of the successful candidate:

  • university degree in Human Medicine or Pharmaceutical field 
  • knowledge of and experience in medicine / pharmaceutical industry (Immunology TA is a plus)
  • up-to-date knowledge of the professional field, products and competitors in connection with the company's products; clear understanding of therapeutic area strategy
  • knowledge of the opinion leaders and the professional organizations in the field (very beneficial)
  • knowledge of the relevant international, local and corporate procedures, ethical rules and laws
  • knowledge of external and internal regulations and requirements concerning clinical studies
  • compliance with laws, regulations, high level of ethical standards, conformity to the rules
  • integrity based decision making, ability to multi-task, work under pressure
  • achievement and result-oriented thinking, strong customer focus and service oriented personality
  • ability to achieve goals in matrix organization; proactive attitude; sense of urgency; 
  • openness for innovations and changes, systematic and structured approach
  • great communication and presentation skills
  • fluent English knowledge of both spoken and written, native Hungarian 
  • good computer skills, compliant driver
