                              Consumer BT Plan PMO/Program Manager

Role overview:

Global, Consumer BT Plan Programme Lead, responsible from a BT perspective for managing, and deploying our Global portfolio of projects including the Pangea OMP programme across all consumer regions.

This role is pivotal in managing the dependences between the workstreams and projects in Pangea, other sector OMP programmes and leveraged teams, ongoing global and regional plan projects within Consumer.

The role holder will be responsible for the Consumer Plan PMO, Programme governance, standards, project planning and budget tracking, the role will ensure both programme and business processes being implemented are integrated across process and technical teams.

Key responsibilities:
  • BUIT Programme Lead for Global Consumer Programmes, including Pangea ensure projects and workstreams and dependences are effectively managed
  • Ensure portfolio of projects running under the Gold platform are adequately resourced, conflicts are resolved, risks are mitigated and escalated where necessary. Support the annual business planning cycle for the relevant EPL
  • Support the establishment of new projects and especially the development of business cases and CAR’s    for new projects within Pangea or across Consumer
  • Develop and implement a global consumer plan intake process for projects and changes. Support the assessment of new / unplanned projects and their transition to active projects in the portfolio
  • Establish PMO structures, issue management and reporting is effectively coordinated including PMx, Instantis, Budgets Issues and Risk management processes
  • Responsible for developing EPL BT Training approaches, curriculum, training needs assessments and BT training deployment
  • Prepare and agree business plan’s with relevant business & TS teams and manage recharge to operating MRCs
  • Coordinate standards and process integration activities across the various Planning and Analytics team with the EPL ensuring best practice and consistent standards are applied for project delivery, build requirements gathering, testing, and training driving best practices, and process across the EPL
  • Responsible BT participation in the ongoing change control process to ensure all changes to the global template are scalable and can be leveraged across multiple regions & sectors. Also ensure changes to Legacy Plan systems provide value and are aligned to Plan strategy
  • Support the assessment of new / unplanned projects and their transition to active projects under the Gold programme, subject to approval of the Gold Business Governance Board (GB2)
  • Ensure support model is in place and effective (measured through platform stability, ticket trend, customer feedback)

  • 5 years experience of plan and source best practices and processes in an IT Product Owner role
  • 5 years experience developing or deploying Plan or Source solutions ideally in a Regional or Global CoE environment
  • 5 years experience working on large regional or Global SAP projects in a GxP and SOX-relevant environment
  • Very strong programme and project management skills, ideally leveraging SDLC with experience of incident and change management procedures and toolsets within J&J
  • Excellent communication, people management, change management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent skills in facilitating the design and documentation of Business, Data and IT architecture
  • Budget and CAR management

Technical competencies:

  • SAP SCM processes and tools (APO/SNC), ideally certified
  • ITIL certified
  • SCRUM PO Certified
  • APICS Certified
  • SCOR certified is a plus
  • TOGOF or similar IT Architecture qualification is a plus
